Cherie Harbridge Williams

Hello!
Let me introduce myself. I grew up in Lima, Ohio in the ‘50s. After I married and had two children, my husband’s work took us to different locations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, then we landed in Central Florida in 1979.
During my 38 years in Florida, I worked as a bookkeeper for a real estate firm, then as head bookkeeper, controller, and finally General Manager of a resort in the Disney World area. I held that position for ten years until I had major surgery and faced a slow recovery. After leaving the resort, my husband and I ran a photography business until he died suddenly. While working with Harbridge Photography, I learned graphic design skills, so when he passed away, I took a job as a graphic designer at a large church. Later I was on staff at other churches as a graphic designer and polished off my bookkeeping skills.
We moved to Virginia in 2017. Currently, I enjoy living with my husband in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in Madison Heights. We have three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
Various hobbies and interests have kept me busy over the years. I was a church organist for decades, loved camping and boating, and even had a go at cheese-making. Some of our happiest times were in the pontoon boat on Lake Kissimmee, photographing alligators. I also love to travel.
I began my writing career in 2020. At this stage of my life, I don’t want to waste the time I have left. Whatever I can do to point people to Biblical truths, that’s what I want to do. With God’s grace, writing seems to be the perfect vehicle.
