What a great time we had at the Launch Party for "The Paper Balloon" on March 15th! Many thanks to Brian and Becky Paskvan, who hosted the event, and to everyone who came. We had at least twenty-five people there, unless I missed someone in my count. Many of you went home with a book; some of you with several.

If you’ve just finished reading one of my books—first, a heartfelt thank you. You’ve given your time to these pages, walked alongside the characters, and shared in their journey. That’s something I never take lightly, and it means more to me than I can say.
If the story brought you a bit of joy, stirred your thoughts, or simply gave you a pleasant escape, may I ask a small favor? Would you consider leaving a review on Amazon?
It may seem like a simple thing, but it matters in ways you might not realize:
First, reviews help other readers discover the book. In many ways, they’re today’s version of word-of-mouth—one reader quietly recommending a story to another.
Second, reviews let Amazon know the book is worth sharing. The more feedback a book receives, the more likely it is to be shown to new readers. Even a quick star rating or a single sentence helps.
And third, reviews encourage authors—me included. Writing a novel is often a long process that stretches over thousands of hours of solitary work. Hearing that a story made someone smile, stirred their emotions, or caused them to think is the kind of encouragement that carries me into the next book.
Please don’t feel you need to write anything lengthy. A few simple words like “Loved the story” or “I couldn’t put it down” truly do make a difference.
So if you have a moment, I’d be grateful if you’d click over to Amazon and share your thoughts. It’s a small kindness that has a lasting impact.
With many thanks,

P.S. Much gratitude and a tip of the hat to Jayna Baas, a fellow author whose Christian historical novels I highly recommend.
